The Collective is a group of Lower Price Hill residents collaborating on creative projects that beautify the spaces in our neighborhood and the relationships we have with each other. Our goal is to create a welcoming space that allows creativity to be transformative and interactive for all. Join us as we explore the intersection of art, music, poetry, craft making, community building, gardening, cooking, good coffee, great people, and whatever else you have in mind.

The Collective meets every Thursday from 1:30pm-3:30pm in the Opportunity Hub. All are welcome.

Resident Artists

The Collective is led by a Resident Artist who is hired for a one year term to develop creative initiatives, engage residents in The Collective, and lead public art activities.

Our current Resident Artist is Cynthia Ford. Cynthia is a jewelry maker, proud grandmother, and community leader. As the Resident Artist, Cynthia started Learning Labs-monthly creative skills sharing sessions, helped to lead the first ever Brunch and Art event, and has facilitated numerous public art projects.

Our upcoming Resident Artist, Summer, is our first ever youth leader. Summer is a talented painted and artist and looks forward to using her creative skills to engage other youth in the community in creating vibrant and fun spaces.
