Today, perhaps more than ever, we find ourselves needing to build connections with those around us. Although our work did not stop during the pandemic, we are rediscovering joy in what we have always known̶ we are stronger together.
Throughout the last year, our neighbors have remained determined to pursue a vision for themselves, their families, and our community. From advancing food security to building affordable housing, our community is in action. The food pantry is filled with shoppers, students and tutors gather in our classrooms, residents are leading a range of new initiatives, and hammers echo the sounds of new construction throughout the neighborhood.
As we celebrate this tremendous progress and look toward the future, we are excited to strengthen our work further. This summer, we will strategically unite with our sister organization, Education Matters. With our missions both rooted in the Lower Price Hill neighborhood, we hold the same vision of a stronger and more just community in which all people have access to the opportunities needed to thrive.
We look forward to sharing more with you in the coming months about our unified work as Community Matters.
Thank you for continuing to be an important part of our community. Your support of energy, ideas, and donations are critical to keeping our community strong.
